Trip Rates: Maximum Capacity – 5 passengers + The Captain

 

FULL DAY TRIP: 

  • 1 to 2 People - $600

  • 3 People - $700

  • 4 People - $800

  • 5 People - $900 (Max)

Special Notes: 

1. For Baffin Bay Trips – Add $150 more.
2. Cedar Bayou Trips Available.
3. Beer is OK onboard BUT cans only, please…. Drink Responsibly.

A DEPOSIT OF $150 IS REQUIRED TO RESERVE YOUR TRIP DATE.

A DEPOSIT OF $150 IS REQUIRED TO RESERVE YOUR TRIP DATE. When you call, the captain may be on the water, so please let him know that you have made the deposit and he will return your call to confirm the trip date just as soon as he gets off the water – usually in the early evening. At that time he will review the trip details with you (like where to meet and what time) and you will have the opportunity to ask questions or inform the captain of any special requests of needs.

What The Captain Offers:

Capt. Russ furnishes all rods, reels and bait.  There is an ice chest onboard to hold your favorite drinks and snack. (No Styrofoam ice chests onboard.) When you call to reserve your trip date(s), the captain will inform you of where and what time to meet (at a local boat dock near you.)

 

What You Need To Bring:

Bring your favorite snacks and drinks, a cap or wide-brimmed hat, sunscreen, camera to catch the memories, wading equipment if applicable and…leave an empty ice chest in the car so you can carry your fresh catch back home! Bring your cell phone but for important or electronic devices, please put them in a baggie so they don’t get wet. If you're bringing younger children, they are much more happy and comfortable in a USCG life vest that is fitted to their weight and size requirements.

STATE LAW REQUIRES… that you have a valid Texas Fishing License with a “Saltwater Stamp”. These are available at Walmart, HEB and local tackle shops.

Deposits are refunded if and only if your cancellation is received 14 days prior to your trip date.

CANCELLATION MUST BE GIVEN VERBALLY TO THE CAPTAIN VIA PHONE: (361) 633-1288. Capt. Wheeler reserves the right to cancel a trip due to inclement weather, an unforeseen circumstance, or act of nature. Trips may be rescheduled easily for a future date – one that is convenient for you!
