About The Boat:
23′ 2012 Haynie Cat w/Mercury 250hp Pro XS – 23′; Minn Kota Trolling Motor. Expect a smooth, dry and comfortable ride! Every precaution has been taken to insure your safety: fully-charged cell phone always on board, GPS navigation and Capt. Russ is First-Aid Certified/First-Aid Kit always on board too! Capt. Russ is a seasoned captain, so you’ll be in excellent hands!!!
About Yout Trip:
We’ll use both live and/or dead bait (seasonal) as well as artificials/lures. Depending on the tides and currents, we may do a little drift fishing as it is successful way to catch fish. It allows the bait to flow naturally in the water… and all fish are more prone to bite when you set-up the scene for it. Sightcasting is the most challenges and most rewarding way to catch fish. The super-quiet trolling motor will get you up-close without spooking the fish. If you’ve never fished before or are an experienced angler, Capt. Russ will show you his techniques to make your day on the water everything you imaged!! At the end of the trip, he will clean and bag your fresh catch for the trip home. Bring an empty ice chest (leave it in the car) so you can ice-down our fish!
Need an Experienced Tournament Captain? Choose a captain with proven experience!
What The Captain Offers:
Capt. Russ furnishes all rods, reels and bait. There is an ice chest onboard to hold your favorite drinks and snack. (No Styrofoam ice chests onboard.) When you call to reserve your trip date(s), the captain will inform you of where and what time to meet (at a local boat dock near you.)
Bring your favorite snacks and drinks, a cap or wide-brimmed hat, sunscreen, camera to catch the memories, wading equipment if applicable and…leave an empty ice chest in the car so you can carry your fresh catch back home! Bring your cell phone but for important or electronic devices, please put them in a baggie so they don’t get wet.
